Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow
This system takes traditional cruise control to the next level. It senses the speed of traffic ahead of you before setting a matching following speed when engaged. When traffic ahead speeds up or slows down, the system will adjust to maintain a safe following distance.
Lane Keeping Assist System
Staying in your lane on the highway is important. This feature detects when you might be veering into neighboring traffic and makes minor steering adjustments to keep you centered. This can prevent or mitigate avoidable collisions on your side.
Additional Eyes in the Back
There are plenty of available systems that keep an eye out on the rear of the Acura TLX as well. These available features stand watch in areas that are outside your typical field of vision while driving.
The blind spot information system lets you know when traffic is near you yet blocked from your view. You’ll get an alert when another vehicle is detected. This lets you know when it’s safe to change lanes or merge.
These sensors are also used with the Rear Cross Traffic Monitor. When backing out of a parking space, the sensors alert you when other vehicles are approaching. You can confidently back out and get going once again.
